Welcome to the EELS database.
This database is a compilation of Outer-shell and
Inner-shell excitation spectra from Electron Energy Loss
Spectroscopy and X-Ray experiments, which will form a reference catalog of
fine structures for materials.
Once registered (free of charge), the user can search,download or submit a
spectrum. Ascii data or binary ELP spectra can be uploaded directly
through Internet and a set of acquisition parameters need to be entered on a web form.
After submission, the spectra parameters will be carefully checked by
the database moderator prior to their public availability.
All spectra are welcome, whatever their quality (energy resolution,
signal to noise ratio,...) as both
high and low energy resolution information can be useful if
these spectra exhibit changes in the fine structure.
The database will be continuously updated, and according to your
remarks, new features may be added. Please feel free to send
