Carbon nanocones

CVD growth of carbon nano cones, a unique synthesis of CEMES at present. These tips are used for electron emission in electronic microscopes with better coherence and stability over time than all commercial W tips currently used. Other applications are under study, in particular as a new flexible probe for AFM with end-point functionalization in order to add a particular chemical selectivity.
