Through a panoramic projection on the walls of the Boule, Anne Caminade offers a visual and auditory exploration of the volcanic landscapes of the island of Lanzarote. In this immersive experience, the sensory journey, voice-overs, written annotations and moments of reflection encourage the audience to take an active part in constructing the narrative. ‘L’ÎLE’ invites us, in the enclosed space of La Boule, to reflect personally on memory and the impact of landscapes on our psyche.
This exhibition is part of the ‘off’ programme of the contemporary art festival ‘le nouveau printemps de Toulouse’ (30 May / 30 June 2024).
