The explosion of generative AI in recent years has impacted the entire society, notably through the new possibilities presented by text generation tools, of which ChatGPT is the most well-known representative.
The world of research is not spared by this phenomenon.
In this presentation, I will talk about how this tool has been used by researchers, focussing more particularly on its uses in questionable research practices around scientific publication, and the questions this raises about the world of research as a whole.
