The support platform includes 5 departments (Finance, Infrastructure, IT, Human Resources and Training, Internal Management Monitoring) and is composed of 12 people.

Finance

This department is composed of 3 people and its mission is to ensure all the acts of financial management of the laboratory:

  • Implementation of the budget, analytical follow-up of expenses and accounting
  • Placing of all the missions of the scientific community, and orders related to the operation and equipment
  • Financial justification of research projects
  • Financial management of all research support platforms
  • Financial management of the laboratory infrastructure
  • Follow-up of regulations in the context of procedures related to the laboratory’s purchases and drafting of PUMAs, RECAs and other calls for tender

The main function of the IT department is to provide all the laboratory’s staff with reliable and efficient IT tools adapted to their scientific activities.

The service is composed of 4 people and its missions are divided into 5 main categories.

Network:

– management of the “cemes.fr” domain, wired and wireless access

– protection of the site (Firewall) and provision of access for mobility (VPN)

– securing computer systems (PSSI)

– implementation and management of IP telephony

– provision of videoconferencing tools

– monitoring the physical access control system to the laboratory

Systems and tools:

– management of the infrastructure servers (physical and virtual) necessary for the operation of the information system

– administration of storage equipment

– provision of collaborative tools (messaging, suite)

Workstations and user support:

– installation and maintenance of workstations (hardware and software aspects)

– provision of local assistance and advice to users

– drawing up quotations in accordance with the contracts in force

– management of printers and photocopiers

Services to science:

– maintenance of small computers (HPC)

– hosting of websites

– installation and maintenance of scientific applications and their associated licences

Miscellaneous:

– drafting of specifications and follow-up of calls for tender

– training and external relations

The Human Resources and Training Department, consisting of one person, has two main missions:

– Individual and collective management of staff (permanent and non-permanent):

  • Management of recruitment files (CANOPE)
  • Management of leave and work stoppages (AGATE, ORHIS, ARIANE)
  • Coordination and updating of data in RESEDA and SIRHUS
  • Dissemination of information on management procedures and human resources actions (from CNRS or UPS)

-Training:

  • Dissemination and follow-up of training courses offered by the CNRS and the UPS within the laboratory
  • Advice and support to all staff for the registration procedure and the setting up of training courses
  • Identification of training needs: drafting of the PFU (unit training plan)

Aurore Pruvost, ITA CNRS (AI)

The mission of this department, composed of one person, is to organise and monitor the laboratory’s internal invoicing and financial flows.

  • To provide methodical assistance and advice to project leaders on the use of the dedicated web interface and to supervise this input.
  • To monitor the progress of the internal invoicing of the laboratory’s experimental activities.
  • Organise and share the management follow-up of internal invoices with the different actors.
  • Ensure the follow-up and the good execution of the internal financial flows in the laboratory between the technical services and the groups on the one hand, and the projects on the other hand.
