On 19 November, Marc Legros, CNRS research director within the PPM group at CEMES, was awarded the 2025 Grand Medal from the SF2M, the French Society for Metallurgy and Materials.

This award recognises individuals who have made a significant contribution to the field of metallurgy or materials.
